Power Torque Inc continues to be open for business as usual. Power
Torque has been deemed "An Essential Supply Chain Business" allowing us
to remain open for business during the current shut down status in many
areas.
The necessary preparations have been made to efficiently operate
remotely if required, therefore, no business interuptions are foreseen
at this point. In addition, we have set up alternate communications
with our key suppliers in case of closures at their location(s). PT
also continues to bring in excessive amounts of inventory, to help
decrease the potential for product shortages during the pandemic.
We
thank our employees, who are working diligently to take the extra
measures necessary to decrease the chances of spreading the Covid-19
virus, and this includes taking extra measures to quarantine incoming
shipments for a MINIMUM of 24 hours for corrugated paper containers,
and 72 hours for metal goods. Disenfectants are also being used
multiple times per day as a precaution and deterrent, as well as
frequent hand washing and social distancing, etc...
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who are combating this
virus, including nurses, doctors, emt's, and everyone else in harm's
way.
